Abstract
This paper aims at exploring Georges Bataille’s view on writers or poets by describing what characteristics he believes contribute to a writer. These characteristics include childishness, consumption in the life style and the lofty sovereignty in the spiritual pursuit. Bataille argues that a writer can be a real writer because of these three characteristics when he can creates his own works.
